A Premium Only Plan (POP) allows employees to save federal, state, and FICA taxes on their contributions toward qualified insurance plans. Employers save the FICA tax match on the same contributions. Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)GDI specializes in the design and implementation of flexible benefit plans, including flexible spending accounts. Flexible benefit plans vary in complexity from premium only plans to credit-based arrangements and our services dovetail perfectly with the needs of all types of employers.
Limited Purpose Medical Flexible Spending Account (FSA)This type of FSA differs from a general purpose Medical FSA only by the type of expenses eligible for reimbursement. A Limited Purpose Medical FSA plan allows HSA participants to be reimbursed for out-of-pocket dental, vision and preventive care expenses. Employee contributions to the account are deducted pre-tax, the "use it or lose it" rule applies, and participants may access their entire annual election at any time during the plan year.
